Our 5Th Wheel RV Caravan Travels Continue - South WA
Walpole. Way up in the forest canopy, we could see through the forest.
Some of the trees were very old and had dead grey branches sticking out of the tree tops. These are remnants from wild fires that swept through hundreds of years ago.
These looked beautiful against the clear blue sky.

It felt strange being so high up amongst the treetops, but it gave us a different perspective. Up here, there were old branches with little hidey-holes where little animals lived.
Some of the dead branches and trunks made weird looking shapes amongst the green foliage.

We could see for miles, right over the forest in some places, as far as the mountains many miles away in the distance.
It was lovely and cool up here, with little gusts of breeze every now and then, that rustled the leaves around us.

It was very pleasant indeed. I thought that it was going to be really hot up there; it was a warm day.
