After the markets, we went further out of town to visit Chrysties Museum, a rather unusual place. This was full of Australian memorabilia, old cars, trucks, motorbikes and ancient caravans.
1950's caravan
The caravan above, is exactly the same as the one our family stayed in when I was a child in the 1950's. I clearly remember the venetian blinds; as I had never seen them before.
1920's caravan
It was very interesting. Amongst all this stuff were 3 very old caravans from the 1920's and 30's and 50's.
Caravans have certainly come a long way since these old beauties. Couldn't even fit the queensize mattress in this one!

These were so old, they were made completely of wood. There was a very old one there, believed to be the first pop top. It was extremely basic, fascinating.
