Surfers Paradise 6Surfers Paradise: All slept in this morning and went to Macas for breakfast - wasn't bad either! Then off to Surfers, and check out the Q1 building. It is the tallest residential building in Queensland - 78 stories. Only took seconds to get up to the top in the elevator. The view from the observation deck was spectacular, could see all of Surfers and the beaches. Luce and Graeme back to Melbourne tonight. Dropped them off a Coolangatta airport. Sad to see them go back. We had a really good time.
q1 building surfers Surfers Paradise: Drove up to Brisbane for the day. Off to the caravan shop again to get another connection for the new filter in the kitchen. Also had to find a Medicare office to re-submitt the gas / diesel conversion. They sent a letter back the first time saying we had not filled in all the pages on the application - which we had!! - obviously someone had lost it!!!!! Derrrrr. Then to East Brisbane to visit my Aunt. I had not seen her for ages, about 20 years. Aunty used to live in Sydney and moved up to Brisbane with my cousin and grandson. We had a nice time, chatting and catching up. Was really good to see her again.
