South Australia 3

Day 357 Saturday 12 January

South Australia. Nice warm day today. Driving through the dry counrtryside, past Kimba, the halfway point between Australia's East and West coast. This is also the home of the big Galah. Many road train trucks on the road. One passed us on a corner so close it nearly swiped our entire right side. Bloody idiot.

Staying here for a couple of days to catch up on computer work, washing, shopping etc. The 5th Wheel has been going along great.

Not too hot here, thank goodness. A lovely cool wind blowing today - Sunday. Had to cook up all our veges and made a soup- have to leave all fruit and veg at the quarantine bins at the border.

Next - on to Eucla ---> see next page
