15. Garden Vale Caravan Park - GOLD COAST - HELENSVALE - Qld - only a short drive to SURFERS PARADISE. The theme parks, Wet and Wild, Movie World etc, were just across the highway from the caravan park - perfect. Main reason for staying here.

Beautiful amenities, drive through sites, pool, beautiful big modern camp kitchen. Nice place.

16. Twin Lakes Villiage - GYMPIE - NSW. This was a small, unusual caravan park that concentrated mainly on their Cabins. Had to drive down a steep hill to get to the campsites and these were on the hill in terraces. There was a big convention on in Gympie at the time, all booked out, so had to stay here. Extremely basic caravan park amenities. Good base to explore surrounding area.

17. Tin Can Bay Tourist Park ♥ - TIN CAN BAY - QLD We parked in a big grassed area in a nice private spot. The pool was close by and we could see it from our outdoor sitting area.

It was really nice here, very good amenities, drive through sites. Dump Point. Lots of room. Nice walking path 5 mins stroll from park. It wound around the shore line and through shady trees. Snowy loved this walk. Very pleasant stay.

18. Howard Caravan Park - HOWARD - QLD - 45 min drive to BUNDABERG. Small caravan park, basic facilities. Drive through sites, pool, on river. Good base to explore.
