RV Parks cont.RV Parks - 5th Wheel - Australia23. - Black River Rodeo Stadium and Caravan Park ♥ - BLACK RIVER - less than 1/2 hour drive into TOWNSVILLE. Nice caravan park, lots of open space and fresh air. Also a Rodeo Stadium here. Good basic facilities, camp kitchen. Loads of space for drive through, dump point. This was a very nice place to base ourselves and explore the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed staying here.
24. Hull Heads - Qld - ♥ Coast Guard's Residence Camp Site - 3 day stay limit- a couple of dollars a night to stay. Short drive from TULLY. This was a beautiful spot, right on Hull Head Beach. It was a beautiful beach here; tidal, lovely coarse yellow sand, with huge sand banks and mud flats. Cold shower, water from main tap, picnic area with covered chairs and tables, bbq. We loved it here.
25. - Fishery Falls Caravan Park ♥ - FISHERY FALLS QLD - 30 min drive to CAIRNS Very nice caravan park, beautiful setting, below a heavily treed hill, and surrounded by sugar cane fields. Beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. Plenty of space and drive through sites. Very good amenities, all services, and there was a lovely country pub just at the entrance of the caravan park. They had great meals there. Another place we really liked.
