RV CampgroundsWe found it a lot easier to phone ahead and check out these details, instead of just turning up and being disappointed. Then having to find somewhere else all over again. Drive through sites were ideal for our 5th wheel RV and we have found park owners went out of their way to accomodate us if possible. We found them all, except for a rare couple, to be extremely friendly and helpful. Especially in the country and outback. We tended to stay at smaller caravan parks and never right in big towns or cities. This worked really well for us. We stayed at a nice park out of town, unhitched the 5th wheel and then went off exploring from there.
