Norseman - Western AustraliaNorseman. Heading for Caiguna today. Stayed the night here then off again on the long long road. It actually rained lightly today for a couple of hours. Mind you, it was still hot and the rain dried up as soon as it hit the dry hot earth. Can see the rain clouds in the pic below.
About 5 hour drive today and arrived in Norseman. Have no idea as to the origin of this place name. I know the Vikings traveled far and wide, but I don't think they made it to Norseman!! Many road train trucks on the road today - BEWARE - some pass very close - is quite scary. Most of the truck drivers are very good, but some must be half asleep or just nasty bastards.
