We walked down into the deep gully picking our way carefully over the rocks along a winding path to a beautiful little beach. This isn't a swimming beach. The swell and rips are very strong and there are lots of jagged rocks just under the waterline. I think people fish off the rocks here.

Standing down on the beach and looking up at the huge rock formations, we could see the different colors, shapes and textures. Some sections of color looked like they had been painted on ith bold horizontal strokes - see pic below.

Also growing amongst the cliffs were isolated patches of seaside plants - see pic below. These added a splash of contrasting color to the predominantly red rock. Together with the brilliant white sand, sparkling sea and bright blue sky, this was great spot for taking photos.
