Overcast day. Headed off to Howard. Scenery pretty ordinary on the way. Partly through the great Tuan pine forest- the best bit.
Got to caravan park about 1200. Parked in a wide open space by ourslves so far. Nice and quiet until the train went past- lucky we like the sound of trains.
Had a drive around the local town and then to Burrum Heads. Huge tidal beach there, very windy. Back to caravan. Nice bbq dinner outside.

DAY 102 Sunday 29 April
Rained heavily all night. Woke up to find the caravan in a huge puddle. Still raining. Went for a drive up to Bundaberg.
Drove through Childers on the way. The soil around this area was nutrient rich volcanic soil, a dark red color. They had sugar cane, citrus orchards and peanuts.
Not raining in Bundy, was a nice looking town, lots of colourful plants and trees in the main street.

Saw the famous distillery. The actual distillery was a very big, dirty rusty place from the outside. The tourist section was very smart though.
Also saw the Bundy Brewed Drinks factory where they make the famous ginger beer.
