Howard continued. Burnett Heads was quite nice place - harbour, beach, fishing boats.
We stopped at the wharf and watched the boats coming and going. Snowy sat up on the bench and checked it all out.
Tone took a video of a man bringing his boat out of the water. He was having trouble with his propeller. He could have used this great site on these innovative Propellers
This was a very elaborate dinghy really, with lots of junk built onto it!
On the way back we spotted a gourmet ice-cream place off the main road. Tiny little shop, beautiful ice-cream, made on the premises at the back of the family home.
Called in to the peanut stall at Childers. Wow, they had localy grown Australian peanuts, with heaps of different flavors.
We got Mexican, chili, sugar coated and caramel and butterscotch - all very yummy. Also some raw ones in the shell, Tone has always been on the lookout for these for ages. We have not been able to find any till now. He had them raw when he was a kid. They were really nice - tasted sort of green and creamy.

Back home to put the clothes in the dryer, still raining! The caravan park man said they had 30mm overnight - Mostly around our caravan I think.
DAY 103 Monday 30 April
Weather clearing up, our big puddle slowly soaking into the ground.
Someone who had parked here before us had scaled fish, because there were hundreds of fish scales floating on the top of the big puddle! Ewwwwww.
Drove up to Maryborough to get food supplies gas and diesel.
