Gympie: Very sunny day, lots of blue sky with a few fluffy white clouds.
Tone had a tooth ache, so off to find a dentist in Gympie. One recommended by the lady in the caravan park office. They could fit him in sometime tomorrow morning.
Then to the Telstra shop to see if they have an external antenae for our wireless modem. No haven't got one - darn! All jobs done, headed for Tin Can Bay. Beautiful scenery on the way.
Drove through Goomboorian and bought some fresh organic lemons at a stall and paid our money into the chained down box.
Also drove through the Toolara Pine Forest, with pines as far as the eye could see. Different sections at various hights and maturity.
Went to check out a caravan park just past Kia Ora on the edge of the forest, but was only a small place and NO wireless reception for the computer - none at all.

Then on to Tin Can Bay. There were many different versions of why the town had this funny name, but they are all as stupid as the other, so I won't bother mentioning them.
Tin Can Bay was a fishing town, went to check out the wharf and beach. We were also looking forward to tasting some fresh local prawns when we stay. yummmmmm. Had a picnic on the shore front and had some fish and chips for lunch.
Found a really nice caravan park just outside Tin Can and booked in for Thursday. Lovely sparkling clean pool there, our site is right next to it, can't wait.
Still lots to see around here. Haven't been to Rainbow Beach or Fraser Island yet. Back to Gympie.
