Dongara. Here we are on the coast, after being inland in the country for 3 months. This is a nice change of scenery.
We are staying right on the beach at Seaspray Caravan Park. This is a great spot with lots of space, fresh sea air, beautiful sunsets and only a hop skip and a jump to the beach. We go to sleep at night listening to the waves crashing onto the shoreline, very pleasant and soothing. As I am writing this, there is a beautiful sunset behind me bathing the interior of the caravan in warm orange light and shadows. I can see the reflection on my laptop screen.
There is low atmospheric pressure at the moment the tide is high and the sea is rough with a large swell. It is so much warmer here on the coast compared to inland. It has been raining on and off, but the air is so fresh and warm. We were glad to get into our shorts, T shirts and crocs again. Addit: The next day, we went for a walk down to the beach and to our surprise, it was covered in large mounds of seaweed. This was dumped overnight with the huge swell - see pic above. We couldn't walk along the beach as it was blocked off with the mounds of seaweed.
