Cedar Creek Falls. It had been raining heavily, so the falls were spectacular. Cascading down from three different levels, the river rushing along swiftly and tumbling over boulders and smaller rocks.
The falling water created clouds of mist, and it felt like we were in a damp, humid tropical jungle in Australia.
There was a mix of native and tropical vegetation at the falls, with lots of thick bright green moss growing everywhere. On huge boulders and amongst the roots of trees.

Then on to Conway Beach.
Here we saw a sign right next to the beach, boat ramp, playground and picnic area!! -
Yikes!!!! The sign was in English, German and Japanese. It said......
*CROCODILES INHABIT THIS AREA - ATTACKS MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH
* Keep away from the water's edge and do not enter the water.
* take extreme care when launching and retrieving boats.
* do not clean fish or leave waste near the water's edge.
* camp well away from the water.
Who would be stupid enough to do any of these things??!!
There were lots of empty trailers at the boat ramp, this was a popular fishing spot. Also a lady and a child wading in the water - No way!!
Did not get out and take Snowy for a walk along the beach!
Time to leave Airlie Beach. Really enjoyed staying there. Beautiful place - no crocs.
