Bendigo Victoria AustraliaOff to Bendigo today. Beautiful sunny day, no clouds, bright blue sky. Approaching our destination, the scenery in this neck of the woods is beautiful. Lush green farmland, undulating hills. Thick green grass everywhere and clouds.
So different to the dry, yellow, and red! Aussie Outback. We have been traveling through drought stricken central Queensland and New South Wales for the last few months. It looks like a different planet here in Victoria. We decided to go down to Melbourne for the weekend. Only 2 hours drive from here. Very cold in Melb!
Stopped at Castlemaine on the way back and had some lunch. This is a beautiful Aussie country town. The old buildings from the 'gold rush days' have so much character. IN THIS SECTION Bendigothis page)
