Over the NSW border into Barringun. Stayed here overnight at the Bush Tucker Inn Caravan Park. This great place was right out in the middle of nowhere.
sunset at barringun caravan stop
There were 6 powered sites and lots of space for unpowered stays. Including 3 three cabins, petrol and diesel pump and small food take away or sit down Diner.

The people here were really friendly and it felt like you were in their family kitchen in the diner. We had dinner there, 'all day breakfast' it was yummy. Huge plates of hot food.
old buildings next to truck stop
Lots of truckies stop here and have a meal or two and a rest, they are great fun. It is like a home away from home. It is nice staying at these small places, like I said, the people are always warm and friendly, and it helps them if you spend some money there.
old dunny - outside toilet
They deserve it, sticking it out in such harsh remote places. It would be terrible if there were no pleasant places like this to break the monotomy of the outback. There was also an old pub accross the road.
