It was very good, lots of information, pictures of old planes, and a big model of the old Temora Air Base during WW2.
There were many Tiger Moth planes based there at that time. Temora was a big flight training base and the Tiger Moths were used as the first step of training, then on to the fighter planes.
Now only one original hanger remains, plus the wood clad guard house - which is now the entrance to the museum complex.
The hangers where the old planes were displayed were spotless, and smelled of aviation fuel and grease - nice smell.
Old war music was playing in the background - Vera Lyn while we were there.
They had the only two flying Spirfires in Australia, one painted with a fearsome set of teeth at the front.
The main attraction for me was an original Tiger Moth from the old training base. It was beautiful.
The Tiger Moth is a bi-plane and our family ancestor Lawrence Hargrave invented the box-kite.
He was a pioneer in the beginnings of manned flight. You can read about his adventures on my site -

There was also a Vampire, Meteor, Hudson, Canberra and some others.
It was well worth a visit. We really enjoyed it. Tone was in the RAF when he were a young lad, and had worked on some of the planes fitting radar.
Takeaway chinese for dinner - Chinese restraunt in old hotel in town. Had to walk through several strange rooms and up a corridor to get to the kitchen to pick up the food.
