Koonoomoo. Friends off to Forbes early - 5am! I don't think I will be awake to see them off! - Nice cool day.
Chooks laid 5 eggs - the black one all broody and sat on eggs for 2 hours.
Got on with fixing things and sorting out the caravan. Bought a new hose for the waste water. We let the grey water out onto the garden. Every bit of water helps and the caravan park owners too are grateful for anyone to water their garden, grass etc with grey water.
The tank water hose supplied with the caravan was full of holes - 10 to be precise - I counted them!!!!! It was the first time we had it out and used it - not good for emptying black water!!!!!!
We could not find one like it anywhere in Cobram, so we called up the 5th Wheeler guys in Ballarat and they kindly sent us out a new one.
Had relaxing day, sorting things out in caravan.
DAY 6 Monday 22 January
Koonoomoo. Cooler day - rained during the night and much cooler to sleep - didnt need aircon.
Did farm chores, went into town, had look around and got some groceries. Cobram has good range of shops. Friendly people.
Felt sad when we were in the supermarket, kept going to pick up stuff for Lucy, and remembering us doing the weekly shop together.

Driving around the country felt really good and familiar. We both grew up in the country, me in Port Lincoln in South Australia and Tone in the Yorkshire Dales.
