Koonoomoo 3

DAY 3 Friday 19 January 07

Off to Koonoomoo today. Had fresh eggs from the farm for breakfast - what a treat! The yolks were very yellow, and the whites were lovely and soft. They did not run everywhere when cracked into the pan, they held their shape - they were delicious!

yum, fresh farm eggs

Did the first wash in my new machine - took long time, but didn't use much water, and got clothes very clean and fresh.

We bought a hose to connect to the outside washing machine outlet, so we can put the water onto the grass, trees, garden.

Got to our friend's place at 1600 and with everyones help and much hilarity and running around with brooms and ropes to hold back branches, we parked out the front under lovely big shady trees. Will be able to drive straight through and out easily when we leave.

Connected us up to power from house - and we put aircon on - it was stinking hot and very humid.

Snowy and dogs introduced, but the two staffies - very playful, and strong, too lively and strong for lil Snowy.

She wasn't scared, but too much with 2 solid dogs pushing and shoving, trying to play with her. Will have to toughen her up. Going to visit our country cousins soon, who have lots of farm dogs - that should do the trick.

BBQ dinner at the farm, they cooked lamb chops - their own meat - very tasty.
