5th Wheel Travels - Summary

DAY 233 Monday 10 September WEEK 34

5thWheel Travels - Australia

This is a summary of the 1st leg of our adventures.

Here we are, over 31,000 kilometers later and 8 months of fun traveling behind us. I could not have imagined what a great time we would have, when we first headed off.

We are now rested, healthier and happier than we have been for years.

We actually stayed at the lovely warm places that I had been reading (and dreaming) about in magazines on my breaks at work.

Back then, it seemed that the day we retired and would take off on our adventures would never come.

But eventually it did and what a time we have had in our 5th Wheel home. Being retired is great fun!

If you are thinking about retiring and heading off ' around the block' - don't any more - just do it! This is the best way to see Australia for what it really is, her people and culture.

Australian Kookaburra

We have seen so much beautiful countryside; Australia's amazing coastline, country areas, isolated outback, drought stricken land, mountains and tropical paradise.

Not forgetting the wonderful and diverse Australian plants and animals we have come across, so far on our continuing 5thWheel travels.
