5thWheel Travels - Summary

5thWheel Travels - Australia - This is a summary of our 1st trip.

We had a washing machine built in and this was an absolute dream. It is a Dometic, 3kg wash front loader. I could wash whenever I wanted. Taking care with water due to the water restrictions brought about by the drought, of course. Not having to queue up for the caravan park machines and find coins to operate them was a bonus.

With our big slide-out, we had lots of room and didn't feel crowded in at all. Also, the area under the large canopy for outside seating was great too. We had many a memorable evening, sitting out under the stars, drink in hand, watching the sun go down. Ah, life is good living in a caravan. I think we will be roaming around the Australian countryside for quite a few years.

Our Rockwood 5th wheel also had a little bbq that attached to the side of the van. This was great for outdoor cooking, especially in hot weather to keep the caravan cool. The fridge and freezer were a good size and worked very well, I was surprised. It was a decent size for a caravan. The airconditioning was a must, as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't have traveled around without aircon! It was very hot in a lot of places. Whew!
