5thWheel Travel - SummaryThen we headed across from Townsville to Central Queensland, and down through the Qld and Nsw outback. I really loved this part of the trip. Australian people are so friendly, even more so in the country. Boy, some of these little country towns have some characters. People who have lived in or around the towns all their lives. They have some fascinating stories to tell and enjoy doing so if you give them the time.
Many of the town buildings were unchanged from the Gold Rush Days and we could see how Australian Culture, Aboriginal and European, has evolved over the years. Leading to our unique Australian history and Australian way of life.
Our Rockwood 5th wheel RV - caravan has been a very comfortable home away from home. It has lived up to our expectations, was spacious. It is fabulous having a separate bedroom and bathroom-toilet. I must admit, I felt sorry for those camping in tents when it was pouring down with unrelenting tropical rain. There we were; dry, warm and happy in our lovely 5th wheel home.
